Pledges and FAQs

Studio Little Red is committed to social development and sustainable practices; finding local creative solutions whenever possible. We support and stand with BIPOC as well as LGBTQ2S+ communities and those identifying as female or non-binary. We are making a conscious effort to represent a full spectrum of humanity in our projects and collaborations.

CHARITY

We pledge to donate 10% of all net profits of online art sales to charitable causes selected by the artists we promote. We believe giving back is a social responsibility and is an important part of doing business.

SUSTAINABILITY

We pledge to choose sustainable options including recycled promotional materials and packaging whenever possible. Please be aware we may reuse packaging when we see fit. We will employ carbon offsets to balance our impact on the climate as well as plant a tree for every purchase online through Liv Clean. We try to focus locally whenever possible as well as source amazing artists from around the world to bring their work ethically and sustainably to Canada or to send works abroad.

DIVERSITY

We pledge to search out and represent a diverse group of artists and support art organizations that promote and grow underrepresented groups. We are proud to be promoting and representing over 80% female identifying artists. We also offer a Mentorship program with with a priority for female or non-binary as well as BIPOC and LGBTQ2S+ identifying artists and curators. We are open to a dialogue if you see a shortcoming and are always open to hearing feedback.

What does it mean that you pledge to donate 10% of net online profits to charity?

At the end of each calendar year we will donate 10% of our net profits from online art sales to charitable or non-profit organizations. Net profits are calculated after expenses. Each of our artists has selected a cause that is important to them which you can see on each of their Artist’s profile pages. Each year we select a few of these worthy causes to contribute to. This year includes: Toronto Humane Society and The Native Women’s Resource Centre of Toronto

Native Arts Society in collaboration with Toronto Indigenous Harm Reduction, Regent Park School of Music and The Encampment Support Network.

How can I further support your social and sustainable initiatives?

Please feel free to click through to a cause selected by an artist whose work you love or click though the above links for our current and past causes to donate directly. You can also add a carbon-offset to your order which will be use to plant trees. We will support specific initiatives throughout the year, based on current situations. Which countries do you ship to?

We currently are offering local pickup and delivery in Toronto. Soon we will ship to all provinces and territories in Canada and continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. If you would like to place an international order outside of these areas please contact us by email for a quotation. If an artwork does not offer shipping online please reach out as it may require special arrangements.

Where is local pick up?

Local pickup is in Toronto and varies by artwork. This may be direct from Studio Little Red, the artist’s studio or from a local GTA art printer or framer. Each artwork page will specify these details. You will be notified by email when your order is ready with details on the pickup location.

How long will it take for my order to be received?

All orders are handcrafted, printed, framed and/or packaged per order and are usually ready within one to three weeks. Shipping times many vary, however we aim to deliver your order as soon as it is ready. Check each artwork page to see specifics regarding timelines.

Can I pay for expedited shipping?

Since all orders are handcrafted per order we cannot guarantee expedited shipping; however please contact us by email and we will see what we can do for you on a case by case situation.

Do you offer consulting services?

Yes we offer full art and interior consulting services which can be limited to our represented artists or can include a wider roster of artists we work with. Please see our Services page or reach out to see how we can help you.
