Introducing Studio Little Red

Studio Little Red was started by Kate Lawler-Dean to be a collaborative hub where art and design come together to create inspiring spaces. In the place where desire and creativity meet, great spaces are born. Our goal is to translate client’s philosophies and perspectives through collaborations with artists, artisans, designers and craftspeople. Little Red works with artists to interpret the essence of the creative goals of our clients, always attempting to push boundaries and expectations. As consultant and interior curator, we mediate and direct the final creative layer of art and objects helping to define a space our client’s are excited about. 

Little Red is centred around contemporary artworks, installations and objects with an emphasis on the handcrafted. The handmade holds a physical mark of the person(s) who created it, adding history and individuality. From curating the frame on a painting to the sculptural vase sitting on a shelf, no element is insignificant. Our expertise is a collaborative approach with emerging and established artists in both small and large scale installations. Be it a interactive outdoor sculpture or a piece of jewellery each holds value and inspiration. Our projects include public, corporate and private collections. We are committed to social development and giving back to the community. As well as sustainable practices considering our environment; finding local creative solutions whenever possible. Little Red focuses on developing projects that evoke, inspire and transcend.  

Architecture establishes an environment, creating the spirit of place. Design elevates the senses while defining the utility as the mind. Art is the heart of a space, the final layer that should inspire and stimulate.
