Toronto Island Art Crawl 2023

Ok we admit we have been awfully quiet over here and sadly this space has not gotten many updates! Lately we have been working hard to help organize the 3rd annual Toronto Island Art Crawl happening this weekend, September 9th and 10th, 2023, 12-5pm. This year we will have a few things on display in our Gallery Box and yard at 26 Lakeshore Ave. on Wards Island. Come on over and explore art outdoors.

We will be featuring the original collage work of Frank Meyer in our Gallery Box from the exhibition Burgundy Blues. You can also check out more of Frank’s work in his yard on Algonquin Island and we will have some prints on hand as well.

As part of this year’s Art Crawl, come see us at the Wards Island Association (WIA) on Sunday September 10th ,12-5pm for a Arts Market featuring local handmade works. We will have a selection of Gallery art including pieces by our Island artists.

We are excited to be showing for the first time functional work by artist Pasha Moezzi. We will have a few of his Salt and Pepper Shakers. We love when objects are both beautiful and useful!

We are also excited to share a sneak peek of Gallery artist, Luisa Milan’s upcoming solo exhibition at the Riviera Gallery this October featuring new works exploring the patterns of plants and water. We will be showing a new work in our Gallery Box as well.
