Toronto Outdoor Art Fair 2021
This year, like last, the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair is being hosted online July 2nd to 11th. Although it is sad to not get the charm of walking around surrounded by art, meeting the artists and seeing their work in person; for the artists it can be so much work with weather always unknown. You will be able to experience some artist’s work in person at the Stackt Market throughout the fair. After exploring virtually, we wanted to round up some of our favourite art including three Gallery Little Red artists!
Pasha Moezzi - Gallery Little Red Artist
PASHA MOEZZI, Cleo necklace, Brass, glass, leather, 2017, 7.125 x 3.875 x 0.25 inch
Pasha Moezzi is an international, emerging jewellery artist residing in Toronto. He creates jewellery work, small household items and sculptures. Pasha’s work has a distinct style influenced by industrial craftsmanship and architectural forms.
SYLVAIN CÔTÉ, Untitled, Unframed letterpress print, 2020, 17 x 11 inch
Sylvain Côté is a printmaker based in Montreal. He works mostly with century-old wood type once used in the printing industry, exploring its application in the context of contemporary art. His work is minimalist with consideration for texture, colour and formal affinity.
HANNAN FAYAD, Sedimentary Celadon Fragment, Blown Glass, Sandblasted, 2019, 7.875 x 7.875 x 7.875 inch
Hannan Fayad is a glass artist based in London, Ontario. Her work highlights the diverse possibilities of glass with forms that delicately balance geometry, organic shapes and colour. The artist uses a sandblaster to carve perforations into blown glass forms. This carving technique mimics the forces of erosion as the material is worn away to reveal an intricate composition.

A jewellery artist from Hamilton and now based in Toronto, Alex creates body adornment sculptural works. He is influenced by the steel mills of his hometown and uses oxides, coarse finishing, and sturdy construction to evoke the industrial. You can also catch his work in person Iron Identity Solo Exhibition until August 14th at Craft Ontario Gallery and curated by Robyn Wilcox.
ROBERT KAMNATNIK, Untitled 4, Acrylic on panel. 2020, 18.125 x 18.125 inch
Born in Zagreb, Croatia, the artist immigrated to Toronto, Canada and pursued their passion for art as a graphic designer. Robert turned to painting with an interest in abstraction. The works are mixed media paintings - acrylic, oil and pastels on canvas paper and board.
CELINA KANG, Vase 2, Stoneware Ceramic, 2021, 6.25 x 6.25 x 6.25 inch
A Toronto based ceramic artist and interior designer. The artist’s work is inspired by nature with references to minerals, particles of soils, and stones. The artist medium is from the earth and the earth is infused in her sculptural and functional works.

Moira Ness is an interdisciplinary visual artist from Toronto. She creates conceptual from relentless archiving, pattern generation, and tracing lines through her own personal history. Data mining her collection of personal correspondences and connections, Moira creates confessional and romanticized text as well as visualized data.

Raised in Panama City, Nadira has a deep interest in her cultural roots. After moving to Toronto, the artist explores objects and memories from her childhood as a means of self-discovery and connection to home.
ALEXANDRA GELINAS, PHA, Hard matte slipcasted porcelain & braided cotton, 2020, 15 x 4.75 x 2.375 inch
Alexandra is an emerging Canadian designer. She is the founder of Studio Minéral: a design workshop specializing in the manufacture of ceramic products for the art of living in limited edition. Her jewellery is non-gendered with strong roots in craft and design traditions while exploring applications that have not yet been examined in the field of ceramics.
Frank Meyer - Gallery Little Red Artist
FRANK MEYER, X-Centric, Paper collage, acrylic paint, 2018, 22.5 x 15 inch
Frank Meyer has been an artist since childhood through music and had an artistic career writing and directing film/video. Without formal art lessons, he decided to seriously study and make art. He studied in the Bauhaus method, working in all media, always pushing artistic comfort zones. He has been working in collage based multi-media works currently with limited edition prints.

BRAD TURNER, Redundant Vessels #5 & #6, Hand Blown Glass, 2018, 7.125 x 23.625 x 7.125 inch
Brad Turner grew up in Calgary, graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design as well as completing a residency at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. The artist creates functional and sculptural glass works. Brad’s handblown vessels are a study in colour and form with an emphasis on layering of components and function.
SAGE SZKABARNICKI-STUART, Spider, Archival pigment print, 2020, 20.125 x 30.75 x 1.125 inch
Sage Szkabarnicki-Stuart in a photographer based in Torornto. Her Animal Logic series celebrates the surprising, sometimes overlooked history of animal and human relationships within the Canadian historical context. The artist uses self portraiture to reflect on her experience with animals and environments that surround her in day-to-day life.
Loren Kaplan - Gallery Little Red Artist
LOREN KAPLAN, White on White Engraved Vessel, Stoneware, 2021, 12.625 x 14.125 x 12.625 inch
Loren Kaplan was born in South Africa and now resides in Toronto, Canada. Her work attempts to integrate symbolic, visual, tactile and spiritual values — blending form, function and meaning. Her work resonates with light, sound, pattern and texture. Loren’s work includes unique pieces that are created by coiling and hand-building as well as specialized ranges of thrown work. The surface of these vessels are often carved, sculpted or engraved with intricate patterns and symbols that combine the geometric and organic.
